Sony's latest Z4100 has a "true" contrast ratio of 3000:1. And the larger versions of the XBR6, even though the dynamic contrast says 50k:1, is rumored to be really 3000:1 also.

looking than Heavy Rain? Low-res textures? Madison's polygon count is significantly higher than any model in Uncharted. High-res textures can be found throughout the taxidermist's home and its clear when she walks down hallways prior to the QTE.

a breakthrough its too early to say. KZ2 has to succeed and RPGs like Infinite Undiscovery have to also be successful.
This one doesn't. For that reason alone this is a much better game.
well basically you hit the nail on the head. People have to use it daily and keep it populated like myspace, Second Life, youtube, N4G, etc. If not then it fails.
download various places the first time through if you want access to those areas. Then once you start jumping around its a short load.
what you need to see. There are various previews that you can look to that discussed the gameplay.

and textures from DMC4. The screens indicate that is a fact. So unless most people believe DMC 4 is head and shoulders above everyone else, then how could you claim such a thing for a similar looking game?

the PS3 has only one AAA game and the 360 hasn't had a commercial success in quite awhile. Last one was Nov 20th, 2007. It is now August 19th 2008.
a couple of new techs like SED and OLED, but you shouldn't really worry too much because they'll be replaced too. Just don't spend too much on LCD TVs or any tech if you want to keep up.
